“It's people like you who can give this Titanic of a culture that 1/8 of one degree shift, miles before the future could be known or imagined, that just might mean we don't hit ice. Or, if we do, that there will be enough lifeboats.”

Experience Containers
Creative, experimental, & experiential spaces that show how to be who we need
I believe in the power of meaningful connections and authentic relationships. When we have those in our lives and communities, so much can change.
But we often lack spaces that develop our skills and encourage us to practice embodying the connections we need.
So I create them.
-
I design and facilitate experimental spaces to elevate how we connect and explore what we can create through our relationships. Several ideas started long ago as personal gatherings and birthday parties.
Now, as I channel my will to play and experiment more publicly, I ground myself with two pieces of wisdom:
Create what you know we need.
Do it in the energy you wish to create.
I’ve pitched and produced numerous projects that combine the nature of embodied experiences, learning, vulnerability, intimacy, sharing, healing, friendship, community, and forming deeper bonds.
If this resonates with what you long for and need, I hope you’ll consider joining one of my containers.

Romancing the Revolution is a weekly, transformative, virtual container for shared reflection, thoughtful discussion, and queerly intimate practices for liberation.
Every Sunday at 10:30am (MST) on Zoom (link to Calendar)
Register a month at a time to receive my current pages as I develop them! Show up on Sundays to make connections that will inform your own practices, meaning-making, and liberatory resistance for weeks (and years!) to come.
Please review this post to make sure your expectations align with the purpose of this space before registering.

For the Love of Strangers is an innovative and highly-interactive community experience. It animates possibilities for being with others by building a hyper-local culture of connection.
Through experiment and experience, “For the Love of Strangers” provides a generative container for connecting in spontaneously rich and uncommon ways.
Each show focuses on a theme and runs something like a 90-minute story-sharing space blended with small group think tanks.
I share some of my Best Worst Ideas for meaningfully connecting with others (most of which I’ve actually done). Audience members briefly dialogue and workshop the idea (hopefully making it even better and worth trying again).
Refreshing, vulnerable, provocative, and thoughtful, the goal is to leave with something to talk about, more to think about, and the inspiration to practice connecting in new ways.
Yes, it’s meta and a remarkably fun time. Check my calendar for more details.

I’m frequently creating new in-person and online spaces to connect.
Some emerge out of an existing container so we can engage in a different or deeper way. I’ve hosted follow-up spaces like reading groups, philosophy pop-ups, workshops, and parties!

Are you interested in hosting an event that is meaningful and different, in a really good way?
Reach out if you’re interested in an experience container for your community, organization, or private event.
If you want to collaborate on a new idea, I’d love to hear from you!
“The edge of weirdness your event brings to our community (or, rather, the weirdness you bring to this event) is delightful! It’s especially fun to watch people discover For the Love of Strangers, and its charm, for themselves.”
“These conversations feed my brain. They feel good. ”
“You’ve created a trusted and motivating community space. Conversations are philosophical, tangible, and actionable.”
ROMANCING THE REVOLUTION
Romancing the Revolution is a weekly virtual space centered on queerly intimate practices for liberation. It is a transformative container for learning how to be who we need through authentic sharing and critical reflection.
This is the natural next step toward doing my work as a meta philosophical performance artist in a way others can use.
It's one thing to study someone's work. It's another thing to progress and evolve beside them by participating in a process as it develops. By thinking, reflecting, and sharing together, this experience will inevitably shape your process and meaning-making, too.
This space is unique and every week is different. To keep us anchored in a collective process, our time will be facilitated around themes presented in my pages, which are shared with everyone who registers for the current month.
Due to the nature of this experience container, it is crucial that all participants come with a strong foundation of self-awareness, emotional capacity, intellectual humility, and skillfulness around group dynamics while sharing space across difference.
This is not an open forum for casual discussion about personal ideas or political opinions. It is an intentionally designed and facilitated space grounded in values of community, liberation, and praxis. If this resonates with your commitments and capacities, you are invited to join this uniquely powerful process.
We gather on Zoom every Sunday at 10:30am (MST) for an hour.
There is a built in sliding scale starting at $10 per month for my Buy Me a Coffee members. Visit my shop to register.

“Why am I compelled to write? Because the writing saves me from this complacency I fear. Because I have no choice. Because I must keep the spirit of my revolt and myself alive. Because the world I create in writing compensates for what the real world does not give me. By writing, I put order in the world, give it a handle so I can grasp it. I write because life does not appease my appetites and hunger. I write to record what others erase when I speak, to rewrite the stories others have written about me, about you. To become more intimate with myself and you.”
